Trevor Herin - Northwestern Mutual
Trevor Herin has been with Northwestern Mutual since May of 2012. He graduated from GVSU in April of 2013 with a Bachelor's in Marketing with a sales emphasis. Trevor started as an intern at Northwestern Mutual and participated in the program for one full year. In that year, he finished in the top 1% of all interns in the country. After graduating from GVSU, Trevor converted to a full time Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual and now works with a team of advisors in many areas of financial planning. He is also the College Unit Director in the Grand Rapids office in charge of mentoring, developing, and coaching the current intern team and their leaders.
His hobbies include: playing guitar, traveling, working out, golfing, watching sports, relaxing with friends.

Lisa Johns - Northwestern Mutual
Lisa Johns has been with Northwestern Mutual since 2011. She graduated from Aquinas College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and Marketing. Starting off, Lisa was a Campus Recruiter for Northwestern Mutual, which consisted of identifying, sourcing and recruiting top talent in West Michigan for their Top 10 Internship Program. Their Grand Rapids office ranked #1 Internship program in the country for Northwestern Mutual in 2014 and is continuously converting interns into a full time opportunity as Financial Representatives. Lisa is now the Director of Internship Development; ensuring sustainable and incremental growth of the internship program and coaching interns to a successful full time career. She is here to inspire people, impact lives, and maximize their potential. Her hobbies include adventure traveling; snowboarding, backpacking, paddle boarding, and kayaking.

Kyle Young - Mlive Media Group
My name is Kyle Young and I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2012 with a BBA in Marketing and General Management. During my undergrad at GVSU I was involved in the Greek community as a brother of Alpha Tau Omega, the athletic department as a member of the Club Dodgeball team and was also a member of the American Marketing Association.
Upon graduation from GVSU in the 2012 I moved to Chicago and was employed by Red Frog Events as an Event Coordinator. During my time with Red Frog I gained experience in multiple facets of the business, but primarily was responsible for the planning of specific events as well as creating and monitoring online marketing campaigns through social media.
At the conclusion of the summer of 2012 I moved back to Clarkston, MI and was employed by R2 Logistics Inc. as a Logistics Coordinator. During my time with a R2 Logistics, I was the primary contact for multiple auto part manufactures and was responsible for managing and fulfilling their freight shipments.
In January of 2013 I began my position with MLive Media Group as an Account Executive. At MLive I manage custom marketing campaigns and fulfill the primary role as a marketing consultant for a variety of businesses. Within my role, I am responsible for the creation, execution and optimization of marketing strategies that are tailored to fulfill pre-determined client objectives.
