Professional fraternities are developed around the common goal to be ahead in the job application process after graduation. Delta Sigma Pi is the longest standing professional fraternity at Grand Valley State University. How much does it cost to be a member? Every initiated brother in good standing in the Lambda Xi chapter pays $110 each semester. $40 goes to the national fraternity dues and the other $70 to fund chapter options. The dues are relativity low compared to most fraternities and sororities. Am I required to live in a Fraternity house? No, Delta Sigma Pi does not have a fraternity house. Why is Delta Sigma Pi called a "Fraternity" if it is Co-Ed? Delta Sigma Pi originally began on November 7, 1907 as an all male fraternity. Later, it became open to both men and women in business and economics studies at universities. Will I be hazed during my pledge semester? No. In the interest of professionalism and risk management reasons, hazing is not tolerated. |
