Why did you join Delta Sigma Pi?
I joined Delta Sigma Pi because I wanted to find a sense of purpose at Grand Valley beyond just going to class. I was looking for something that would push me to grow, get involved, and build real connections with people who were just as driven. DSP gave me that opportunity through professional events, social events, leadership roles, and because it is a great group of people who actually care about making the most of their time here.

What advice Would you give to someone joining DSP
Get involved early and don’t be afraid to speak up. The more you put into DSP, the more you’ll get out of it whether it’s leadership experience, networking, or just building confidence. Go to events, ask questions, and talk to brothers outside of meetings. It’s easy to just go through the motions, but the real value comes when you make the effort to engage.

I took a gap year between freshman/sophomore year and worked in the trades as a apprentice electrician!
